OKLAHOMA CITY – Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has named Krystal Sumrell assistant vice president and manager of mortgage lending. Her new responsibilities include managing all aspects of residential lending including conventional mortgages, VA loans, equity mortgages, construction loans and rental property loans.
In addition, Sumrell will work directly with the mortgage lending team to ensure each employee identifies members’ financial needs and offers appropriate credit union solutions.
In 1996, Sumrell began her career with TFCU, holding various frontline and branch operations positions. In 2012, she became the senior professional development training specialist. Before being named assistant vice president and manager of mortgage lending in 2021, Sumrell served as assistant manager of professional development for three years.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and is currently obtaining a master’s degree in organizational leadership. Sumrell also holds certifications in training and development and is a Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE).
