OKLAHOMA CITY – Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) has named Amanda Nichols assistant vice president and manager of professional development. Her new responsibilities include working directly with departments and branches within the credit union to provide and facilitate the tools needed to encourage professional growth, proficiency and competency. These tools include training, certifications, reassessing the impact of current employee programs and more.
Nichols began her career with TFCU in 2008 as a supervisor in the member service center, working to exceed member needs and expectations through phone and online interactions. Before being named assistant vice president and manager of professional development, Nichols served as TFCU’s senior professional development specialist for service solutions, providing service solution training and coaching for the credit union’s new employees for six years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in administrative leadership from the University of Oklahoma, and is actively working toward a master’s degree in organizational leadership through the same institution.
“Amanda offers extraordinary leadership and management skills along with a radiant personality and strong work ethic,” said TFCU President/CEO Michael D. Kloiber. “I am eager to see the great work she will do in this position.”
“I am excited for the continued opportunity to truly champion the TFCU mission, vision and service promises through my everyday interactions with my fellow TFCU colleagues,” Nichols said.
TFCU is the largest credit union in Oklahoma, with $5 billion in assets and over 419,000 members.
