Rebecca Summers is working hard toward her doctorate of veterinary medicine at Oklahoma State University and she’s one of the very happy winners of the TFCU $5,000 “College Cash” contest.
“Vet school at OSU is great, but you can’t just roll out of bed. You have to study hard,” said Rebecca. “Being surrounded by students who want to do the same thing I do – and with professors who really care – makes a big difference.”
Rebecca plans to spend her “College Cash” winnings on a certification class in animal acupuncture, a class she’s been wanting to take but didn’t know if she could afford. “Winning this money from TFCU was such a relief. I can breathe a little bit and take that course I’ve been wanting to, now!”
Recently married, Rebecca switched to TFCU when she moved to Stillwater with her husband. They enjoy the peace of mind of being part of a credit union and the easy access of the mobile app.
