Traveling Internationally? Make Sure You Have Access to Your Account.
When you travel out of the country with your TFCU MoneyPlusTM card or credit card, please notify us about when and where you will be traveling. Simply set up your international travel notice in Home Branch online banking or Home Branch mobile banking by clicking on “Travel notices” and entering your destination, travel dates and select the card(s) you wish to maintain access to. Or, you can call (405) 732-0324, option 6, or 1-800-456-4828, option 6, and request to make a note about the dates and places you will be traveling outside the United States.
Domestic travel: If traveling in the United States, there is no need to enter your trip information. However, please make sure TFCU has your current cell phone number, so we may contact you If suspicious activity is detected on your account.
International travel: If traveling outside of the United States, please notify TFCU of international travel plans through Home Branch.
Why do we need this information?
For your protection, TFCU systems monitor your debit and credit cards for fraud. If the system identifies transactions that seem different from your normal activity, we will contact you by phone for verification. If we can’t reach you, we will leave a message. In some cases, where the activity is suspicious, a temporary block may be placed on your card to prevent anyone from using your card fraudulently.
When traveling internationally, we recommend alerting us at least 24 hours prior to your trip to ensure continued access to your account.
